EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Early morning showers and thunderstorms brought another third of an inch of rain to the Tri-State on Friday. We are on alert for another round of showers and storms Saturday afternoon through early Sunday. A few severe storms with damaging winds, flooding rainfall and possibly a tornado will move across the region as cooler air returns for Sunday and the first half of next week.
Friday evening will be pleasant with partly cloudy skies and temps falling into the lower 60s by Saturday morning. Partly sunny skies for the first half of Saturday with storms moving in by the late afternoon and evening. Flooding risk will be greatest in areas that receive repeated storms.
