EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – One man from Evansville is now under arrest and is facing marijuana and gun charges after police made a traffic stop overnight.
Evansville Police say this all started just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday. Police were in the area of Washington Avenue and Weinbach Avenue when officers saw a black Audi traveling east in the left lane and then cross over the center line into the right lane. Police made a traffic stop at South Alvord Boulevard and Adams Avenue.
Police spoke to the driver and the passenger, 30-year-old Keith Davis. Police could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. When Davis got out of the vehicle, police could see marijuana in the seat where Davis had been sitting…
