Two people Injured in overnight shooting in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Three men are in custody after two men were shot at a Circle K in Evansville.

An affidavit says the clerk at the Circle K on First Avenue called 911 after a customer was shot.

Police say security footage shows three men, later identified as Jeremiah Maffett, Jushaun Norfleet and Jooseontea Norfleet, coming into the gas station and stopping a man at the counter. Police say an altercation happened off camera, but culminated in Maffett taking out a gun and shooting at the victim.

During the shooting, two people were shot. The man the three suspects approached in the gas station was shot once in his right hip and once in his left wrist. An innocent bystander was also shot in the arm, and his truck was shot over ten times…
