EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — An American Airlines flight had to land suddenly in Evansville due to a mechanical issue with the plane.
Fire crews assist airport fire department with large fire presence
A passenger on the flight tells Eyewitness News the plane was having problems with its hydraulic system. They say the plane had to circle the Evansville Airport until it was safe to land.
After the plane landed, passengers were evacuated, and the plane was towed per standard procedure.
Officials say the plane landed out of an abundance of caution. No injuries were reported…
