We’re talking fireworks over rivers, fireworks over lakes, drone shows, parades, concerts with big headliners, and enough food trucks to feed a small army.

EVANSVILLE WEEKEND EVENTS:

Soundbath at Wesselman’s Park — Special July 4th Edition Wesselman’s Park, Evansville, IN (shaded clearing diagonally across from the Nature Center) Saturday, July 4, 2026 | 10:30 a.m. A special early-morning gathering offering a moment of stillness before the day’s cookouts, fireworks, and festivities. Guests are invited to bring a mat, blanket, pillow, or journal and relax in a calm, meditative atmosphere; children are welcome if comfortable sitting quietly or resting. Park in the lot across from the Nature Center unless it is full. Free, by donation.

Fireworks on the Ohio Presented by Bally’s Evansville Riverside Dr., Downtown Evansville, IN Saturday, July 4, 2026 | 6-9:30 p.m. Evansville’s largest public fireworks celebration returns, this year marking America’s 250th birthday. The free event features 25+ food trucks, free face painting, yard games, a patriotic photo point, and a performance from the Evansville Youth Music Collective. Kids’ activities and food trucks open at 6 p.m., with the fireworks display beginning around 9:15 p.m.

4th of July at the Evansville Museum Evansville Museum, Evansville, IN Saturday, July 4, 2026 | 6-10 p.m. Celebrate Independence Day with exclusive access to the Museum and its back lawn, one of the best spots in the city for fireworks viewing. The evening includes food trucks, a cash bar with beer, wine, and margaritas, live music by Nick Smith, kids’ games and activities, and hourly shows in the Koch Immersive Theater & Planetarium.
