An unexpected water main break has created a difficult situation for one Evansville area animal rescue, and they’re asking for the community to step in.
It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue says a water main leak has flooded Stockwell Road, limiting access to the shelter and forcing its water to be shut off. Once service is restored, the shelter expects to be under a boil advisory for at least two days.
That means they’re now facing an urgent need for bottled water and temporary foster homes to help care for the animals.
