GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — A fire fighter has been sent to the hospital following a house fire in Gibson County.
According to dispatch, the structure fire was reported around 3:40 p.m. at the 400 block of west Columbia Street. Multiple crews are on scene battling the fire.
Officials say due to the extreme heat, there are a lot of fire fighters are down doing rehab. One firefighter is on the way to the hospital for heat exhaustion and another is being monitored.
Crews also say there isn’t enough water to fight the fire and are trying to get a shuttle on scene…
