Supplies running low at Evansville food pantry as more people look for assistance

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – With cuts to essential programs and rising costs around the nation, food pantries have seen rise in people looking for assistance.

Leaders at St. Vincent De Paul say they are one of the largest food pantries in the Tri-State area, serving over a hundred families a day with an average family size of four or more.

With the increased number of people coming in they have been running out of supplies quicker…
