EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is under arrest this weekend after police say he was found with both marijuana and methamphetamine.
This all happened Friday just after 6:30 p.m. at U.S. 41 and Covert Avenue. Police say they spotted 48-year-old Everett Serrett walking westbound on the sidewalk along Covert. Police say they had prior knowledge that Serrett had a felony parole warrant.
Officers made contact with Serrett and placed him into custody. Without being asked, Serrett stated he had “dope” in his pocket. He also informed police that he had needles and “weed”…
