EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The City of Evansville is getting ready for a huge fireworks display tonight along the Evansville Riverfront.
‘Fireworks on the Ohio’ will celebrate America’s 250th birthday Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. with children’s activities, food trucks, and those huge fireworks at dusk.
There will be 25+ food trucks along Riverside Drive, from Court Street to Cherry Street. There will also be free activities featured at Riverside and Main, including face painting and a patriotic photo backdrop.
The grand finale, Fireworks on the Ohio, will happen at dusk, which is approximately at 9:15 p.m. Free parking will be available in the city parking garages at 3rd and Locust, as well as Sycamore and 6th for event guests…
