EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is under arrest and is now facing several charges after an incident on Monday, July 6.
An affidavit from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says that around 8:00 a.m., 36-year-old Anthony Williams entered the Civic Center building and walked into the snack shop and stole the card reader machine.
Deputies spoke with a woman who was working at the time of the theft. She stated Anthony walked into the snack shop and walked behind the counter and asked her could he get a job there. She told him “no”, but she tried to give him directions on where he could go apply for some jobs…
