EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police say one person is now dead after a shooting that happened around 4:15 Tuesday afternoon.
EPD says this happened in the 1300 block of Edgar Street, just a couple of blocks east of First Avenue and north of Tennessee Street.
Police say there was a fight between two men, where the victim of the gunshot pepper-sprayed the suspect.
EPD says the suspect shot the victim in his stomach. When police arrived on scene, they tell us they tried to perform life saving measures on the victim and he was taken to a local hospital, but he did not survive his injuries…
