HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Wind turbines could soon be coming to Henderson County, but it’s being met with backlash.
At a county meeting on Wednesday, officials sought to continue to plan to possibly allow wind turbines. The company responsible for the turbines is seeking to place the energy structures on the eastern side of Henderson County.
Residents voiced their concerns as to what would happen to property taxes within the area. As of this time there are no official plans to have wind energy within Henderson County…
