EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Organizers for Drums on the Ohio are making changes to parking plans for this year’s event due to ongoing construction near Reitz High School.
Officials say unforeseen circumstances have impacted parking availability, prompting a shift to create the best experience for participating drum corps and spectators.
For the 2026 event, drum corps will be parked in the normal spectator parking lot, allowing fans to have closer access to see and hear the corps during the event.
Free parking will be available at these locations:
- Barker Athletic Complex
- 611 South Barker Avenue
- Howell Park
- 1101 South Barker Avenue
- Helfrich Park STEM Academy
- 2603 West Maryland Street
Shuttles will be available to transport guests to the Historic Reitz Bowl. Spectators can also choose to walk from the Barker Athletic Complex, with signs posted to help direct foot traffic…
