Gibson County deputies to increase patrols for distracted driving, speeding

GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office is launching a high-visibility enforcement campaign this April to crack down on distracted driving and speeding across local roadways.

Starting April 4, deputies will work overtime to identify and cite drivers violating Indiana’s traffic laws. The 10-day blitz, which runs through April 13, is part of the Comprehensive Highway Injury Reduction Program (CHIRP).
