MOUNT VERNON, Ind. (WEHT) — A Posey County family is still in shock after losing their home in a fire Tuesday night.
Black Township Fire Department was on scene within minutes, but the home was already lost. Homeowner Toni Ayers and her husband were in the home at the time of the fire but made it out before the home was engulfed.
Ayers says she finished cooking just before the fire. The couple has a 20-year-old son with autism named William, thankfully he was not home at the time…
