EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A few showers and storms will close out the work week before staying mainly dry and warm through the weekend. The severe weather threat continues to increase for Monday’s storms. After storms clear Monday night, temperatures gradually cool through the 70s through the middle and end of the work week.
For the rest of the afternoon, expect plentiful sunshine with temperatures in the lower 80s. Winds will be breezy with gusts up to 20 mph. Skies will remain mostly clear overnight with lows in the upper 50s to around 60.
The severe weather threat continues to diminish for Friday, but we’ll hold on to the alert as a few down pours and a couple rumbles of thunder may still impact outdoor plans. Highs will reach the upper 70s underneath mostly cloudy skies. The best chance for showers and storms will be in the mid to late morning hours with a few isolated showers and storms lingering around through the afternoon and evening.
