BRUNSWICK, Ohio — The reasons for attending an outdoor event on a foggy, chilly, mist-covered morning varied among those gathered May 25 for Memorial Day parades in Brunswick, Hinckley Township and Valley City.
But the common theme of giving thanks to those honored on the holiday carried through.
