Man out of jail for murder detained after MS gas station fight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man out of jail for murder was detained after a fight at a Tunica County gas station parking lot on Monday, according to deputies.

At around 1:10 p.m., during a traffic stop, deputies were alerted to a fight in the parking lot of the Zip Trip Service Station.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they de-escalated the altercation and detained Kemarion Ward, 20, of Memphis.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office said the charges in the investigation are still pending…
