Dothan, Ala. (WDNews) — Heavy rain and repeated thunderstorms created flooding concerns across parts of Alabama during the Memorial Day weekend as wet weather continued moving across the state.
In south Alabama, Mobile County and surrounding Gulf Coast communities saw some of the heaviest rainfall totals as tropical moisture pushed inland throughout the holiday weekend. Repeated rounds of storms led to localized flooding concerns, especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
