VENICE — A crowd turned out to Patriots Park on a warm May morning in remembrance of members of the military who “answered the call and made the ultimate sacrifice.”
Those were the words of Chris Casey, commander of American Legion NO-VEL Post 159, the host of the city’s annual Memorial Day ceremony.
