Syracuse Police arrest menacing suspect using spoof gun

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department arrested a suspect after a menacing complaint.

The police department charged Sharnaw Newton, 37, of Syracuse with two counts of menacing, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
