The city of Pembroke approved a site plan for a new hybrid flex center during its May city council meeting.
The space will consist of six buildings and will be used for light warehousing and office space. The facility will be located near Pembroke Place and Strickland Street on Highway 67. Civil construction plans conducted by Coleman Company were prepared for Alex Long of Lawrence Alexander Homes in Effingham County, who is also developing a massive project that will have 2,000 residential units in a mix of homes, townhomes and apartments.
