First Alert Forecast: hot and unsettled now, a cooler turn later

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will host hot high temps in the 80s to near 90 and a low to medium chance for popup storms; while rainfall will help with the long term drought, localized poor drainage flooding will be possible where too much falls too quickly. Over the weekend and onto Monday, June 1, a cold front will draw highs and lows back to near 80 and 60, and possibly 50s.
