BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore ranked among the worst large U.S. cities for raising a family in a new WalletHub study that compared more than 180 cities on factors ranging from housing affordability and school quality to unemployment and crime.
WalletHub’s report on the Best and Worst Places to Raise a Family in 2026 placed Baltimore 178th overall, making it the fifth-worst city in the rankings. The study evaluated cities across 45 key metrics.
