Multiple explosives found in Sacramento County home, deputies say

(FOX40.COM) — Multiple explosives were found in a home on Saturday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

SCSO said deputies responded to reports around 9 a.m. of possible explosives found inside the caller’s home on the 6700 block of Beech Ave in Orangevale. According to deputies, the home previously belonged to the father, who was a former military demolitions instructor.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Explosive Ordnance Disposal found two half-blocks of C4 explosive material, two incendiary grenades and one smoke grenade.

Deputies said that all items were collected to be properly destroyed…
