NORTH PORT — A man and woman were arrested after a “short foot pursuit” of the man ended in him being tased and arrested at the Cocoplum Village Shops.
Jarick Georg, 26, of Punta Gorda, was arrested by North Port Police on May 21 and charged with theft and resisting an officer without violence.
