Syracuse, N.Y. — A tractor trailer hit the Park Street bridge Tuesday morning, and the driver left the scene with the trailer roof peeled back, police said.
Around 9:11 a.m., officers received a 911 call reporting a tractor trailer hit the bridge, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches. The caller said the tractor trailer was able to clear the bridge but the truck kept going with its roof peeled back “like a can,” according to dispatches.
