SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — When a tractor-trailer hit the railroad bridge over Park Street, the driver took off, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department confirmed to NewsChannel 9.
Just before 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, a 911 caller reported the crash, claiming the bridge tore off the roof of the truck’s trailer.
“The caller reporting that the Park Street bridge was struck by a white (inaudible) tractor-trailer with Prime Inc. on the side. Apparently ripped off the roof of the trailer, and they never stopped,” the 911 dispatcher told police…
