NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office said Friday it is searching for a man who was mistakenly released from custody after court records did not reflect that his bond had been surrendered.
The office said Dreion Williams, 30, had been released by court order Thursday. According to officials, this was a mistake because a bail company surrendered his bond the prior evening.
