» Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Drive-Thru Armed Robbery

Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Michael A. DiPietro sentenced Angelo Jerome Riley Jr, 27, to 30 years of imprisonment on May 26.

Riley was sentenced on charges of first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having and discharging a handgun, and armed robbery. Jurors convicted Riley on Feb. 26, following a jury trial before Judge DiPietro.

Charging documents state that at approximately 3 a.m. on Jan. 31,2025, Baltimore Police officers responded to a McDonald’s restaurant located on the 6000 block of Moravia Road to investigate a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers were told by a female employee that she had been working the drive-thru when a man approached the window, pointed a handgun at her and demanded she open the cash register…
