LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered elderly man last seen Tuesday in the Lexington area.
According to police, 82-year-old Homer Lloyd Yates was last seen in the 200 block of Old Chapin Road. Authorities said he left the area driving a black Honda Crosstour bearing South Carolina tag VH8392.
Investigators said Yates is unfamiliar with the Lexington area, and his direction of travel remains unknown.
Police describe Yates as 6 feet tall and approximately 204 pounds with hazel eyes and white hair, though he is usually bald and currently clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt and gray pants…
