LAKE MILLS, Wis. (WMTV) – The Lake Mills community is rallying around a local family after the loss of 8-year-old Charlotte Stevenson, a little girl her family says spent her life defying the odds.
Friends, neighbors and local businesses gathered Tuesday night at Patrick’s Arcade Bar for a taco fundraiser and silent auction benefiting Charlotte’s family following her death over the weekend.
Charlotte’s mother, Emili Jean Keil, says her daughter brought joy everywhere she went.
“She was like just the light of everyone’s life,” Keil said. “Like she was in a room and there was a smile like she was bright and sunshiny.”…
