Lancaster County man charged with breaking into 40 cars waives preliminary hearing

MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster County man accused of breaking into more than 40 cars and stealing thousands of dollars worth of items has waived his preliminary hearing.

Logan Mesteller’s case now moves to county court, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney.

He’s charged with breaking into 42 vehicles in the Manheim Township area between mid-February and early April. Prosecutors said he normally broke into the cars in the late evening or early morning hours…
