TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man convicted in the 2023 death of a 7-year-old boy who weighed just 19 pounds when he was found dead was sentenced Wednesday to 11 to 16.5 years in prison.
Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Joseph McNamara sentenced Joshua Mulvey after a jury found him guilty earlier this month of first-degree felony involuntary manslaughter and third-degree felony endangering children.
“I am gonna impose the maximum sentence of 11 years,” the judge said during sentencing. “Under the indefinite sentencing statute, you would serve 11 to 16.5.”…
