BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Stacey Schexnaildre and Herschel Brown met when they were 17 years old. They had three kids together and were married for 20 years.
On Feb. 28 around 5:30 a.m., Brown was hit by a car while biking on Jefferson Highway. The driver never stopped to check on him.
“I can’t wrap my head around the fact how you hit a human being with a vehicle and you don’t stop,” Schexnaildre said. “I would not do that to a dog.”
Though they had been divorced for two decades, Schexnaildre is determined to find the truth…
