Minimum payments may be trapping Gen Z cardholders in costly debt | Dollars & Sense

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A new report shows nearly 6 in 10 Gen Z credit card holders — people currently between about 14 and 29 years old — typically pay only the minimum on their credit cards.

Experts say paying only the minimum is one of the worst credit card habits cardholders can develop, but it is not the only mistake people make.
