Oaks Park Celebrates 121 Years with Birthday Bash, Special $19.05 Wristbands

PORTLAND, Ore. — Located just minutes from downtown Portland along the Willamette River, Oaks Park is marking its 121st anniversary with a community Birthday Bash that blends nostalgia, local flavor, and discounted thrills.

First opening its gates on May 30, 1905, the historic amusement park has spent more than a century welcoming generations of visitors. This year’s celebration will feature beer and spirits tastings, cake and balloons, and the unveiling of a redesigned version of the park’s “Wrath of Willamette Willy” game, created by local artist Mike Bennett. Attendees will also be able to play the newly reimagined attraction free of charge during the event.
