CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — The 2026 Coastal Carolina University (CCU) Campus Salvage sale had a record-breaking year, marking the highest total in the program’s history.
The statistics of the 2026 sale, according to CCU:
- Raised $8,375
- Diverted 31,035 pounds of material from disposal
- More than 500 people attended
- 3,473 pounds of items were donated to 12 local nonprofit organizations
The sale is part of Sustain Coastal, which promotes campus sustainability and keeping things out of the landfill.
