Report: Pedestrian shows no regard for traffic before deadly North Myrtle Beach crash

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – An incident report says a pedestrian who later died after being hit by a vehicle in North Myrtle Beach appeared to show “little to no concern for traffic” before the crash.

Officers with the North Myrtle Beach Police Department were called around 11:50 p.m. Sunday to Old Highway 17 behind the BBQ House to a crash involving a pedestrian, the report says.

When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian, identified as 36-year-old Daniel Drago of North Myrtle Beach, conscious but disoriented, according to the report…
