ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – A man has been charged in connection with a road rage shooting in Anchorage that left a 19-year-old father shot five times earlier this month, according to court records.
Court documents filed Thursday charge Joseph Semisi Lemalie, 24, with first-degree assault and first-degree weapons misconduct, among other counts, stemming from a shooting reported May 13 near the intersection of Lake Otis Parkway and Northern Lights Boulevard.
Anchorage police previously said patrol officers responded about 9:30 p.m. May 13 to reports of a shooting in the Lake Otis and Northern Lights area. Officers found an adult male, later identified as McKial McCarty, with gunshot wounds who was taken to a hospital for treatment…
