COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The unsettled weather stays with us through the weekend as a front meanders around the region. That’s going to keep us locked in a muggy air mass. However, there could be a bit of drier air in spots Sunday. That’ll be more noticeable next week.
Patchy morning fog Friday. Otherwise, more clouds than sun. A stray or isolated shower is possible during the morning before scattered to numerous showers and storms move in from the southwest during the afternoon and evening. Rain coverage will increase as the day goes on; there could be a couple different rounds of storms. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
Some rain may linger well into the nighttime hours Friday, which could set the stage for spots of rain Saturday morning. Otherwise, we’ll have a partly to mostly cloudy sky with the best chance of several scattered showers and storms coming during the afternoon and early evening.
