UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Extensive improvements will begin at Riverview and Heritage Cultural Parks in Union City the week of June 8, as construction officially starts on a major $850,000 transformation project.
Funded by a Michigan DNR SPARK Grant, the initiative will bring a wave of new features designed to maximize community enjoyment and accessibility.
Upgrades include ADA-compliant lighted walkways, a new drinking fountain, landscaping, enhanced signage, and improved river access for kayaking and tubing.
