LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Many people shy away from tackling the deep questions everyone has. Questions like “Why are we here?” “Where are we going?” and “What is the meaning of life?”
UNLV Professor Dr. Michael Pravica is not one of those people. In fact, he’s spent much of his academic life attempting to answer those very questions with his background as a physicist providing a rational underpinning for his beliefs.

“We only have five senses, maybe for the lucky ones six, and yet there’s so much that goes on in the universe that we don’t know, that are not detected by the senses, that it would get to a higher level of, ‘How did this universe come about to be? As it expands, what is it expanding into? Where did energy come from?’ These are very natural questions that come, starting with sort of the foundation, the background of physics, but then actually transcend physics because it gets into a realm that we cannot measure, we cannot study — yet,” he said.
