PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A fast food chain cleared a major hurdle in continuing its Portland-area expansion.
Hillsboro officials have approved the traffic management plan required to advance In-N-Out Burger’s incoming restaurant on 2498 NE Town Center Dr., according to Cindy Dauer, a spokesperson for the city’s Economic & Community Development Department.

“City of Hillsboro transportation engineers worked with representatives from Washington County and the Oregon Department of Transportation to review the proposed traffic management plan to ensure it adequately addresses safety, access, and flow and minimizes impacts to other businesses and travelers,” Dauer said.
