VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Cat lovers in Southwest Washington will have a chance to adopt without paying a fee this weekend as the Humane Society for Southwest Washington works to make room for a surge in cats and kittens, including more than 80 rescued from a single property.
With cat and kitten intake on the rise, the Humane Society for Southwest Washington is waiving adoption fees for every cat and kitten at its Vancouver and Longview campuses this Friday and Saturday, July 17 and 18, for a promotion called Kitty Palooza.
