NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A woman charged in connection with a North Charleston corruption investigation accepted a plea deal and could face up to 15 years behind bars.
Rose Lorenzo pleaded guilty to two of the 12 charges she initially faced: conspiracy to commit bribery with respect to programs receiving federal funds and theft with respect to programs receiving federal funds.
She originally faced nine charges connected to the North Charleston investigation, but that number went up to 12 last fall…
