DENVER — Colorado business leader and philanthropist Ronald W. “Ron” Williams has died at 81, Children’s Hospital Colorado announced.
Children’s Hospital Colorado said Williams was instrumental in the decision to move the hospital to the Anschutz Medical Campus, co-chairing the capital campaign to raise private funds for a new state-of-the-art hospital. The committee raised $250 million.
