OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – A house being moved off of Ocean Isle Beach damaged a pedestrian railing on the Odell Williamson Bridge on Friday, May 29, according to the Ocean Isle Beach Police Department.
The house was moved from its original location on Laurinburg Street by Milligan House Movers. The bridge, also commonly known as the Ocean Isle Beach Bridge, was scheduled to be closed from 9 to 10 a.m. to allow for the move.
