SOUTH VENICE — A Sarasota man is free on $75,000 bond after being arrested for having sexual relations with a teenager he would meet up with in South Venice.
Carson Kennedy Smith, 23, 400 block of Quay Commons, is charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a victim older than 12 and younger than 18, a second-degree felony.
His conditions of release are no direct or indirect contact with the victim or her family; staying at least 500 feet away from where children congregate; wearing a GPS monitoring device; no use of Snapchat; and no communication with minors on any social media…
